2004 North River Trapper!
We took delivery of our new North River
Trapper May of 2004. It's a 21' windshield/ forward helm style setup to fish the
challenging rivers of the Northwest.

The Trapper is powered by a 350
Chevy Vortec with a Hamilton Jet capable of
cruising in inches of water and getting you to the fishing grounds as
quickly as possible. The boat is outfitted with the latest rods
from GLoomis and reels from Shimano and Abu Garcia to maximize your
fishing experience.
The Trapper is utilized on the Klamath &
Sacramento River for salmon and stripers.
Klamath River
Salmon are king on the Klamath during the Fall. The steelhead fishing is
also world class to say the least. Numbers can be incredible at
times. The giant King's fresh
from the ocean provide some of the most exciting light tackle angling
you can imagine. These King's
weigh
on average between 10 - 20lbs with many fish caught in the 30 - 50lb
range every season. We utilize many different techniques such as
side drifting, boondogging, and back bouncing when chasing these King's. This is
one of our most popular seasons so make sure you book early to ensure a
chance at making this fishing adventure come true.
Sacramento River
Stripers are a hot quarry during the April - May timeframe as these fish
make there way up to the Colusa area to spawn providing for some
fantastic light tackle action. During the hot action it's not
uncommon to have multiple hookups going at any one time. Side
drifting, boondogging, and back bouncing are the techniques of choice. So, if
you have been looking for some fun in the Spring with a lot of fast
action give us a call and setup a striper trip.
